Printmaking time.
I am getting myself TWO things for my birthday this year (hopefully with some help from papa and momma bear). A new tattoo, and a lightbox. Can’t wait.

New piece I did for a show at an art center in Buffalo. Not hugely proud of it, but I love that frame.

Illustration for a poster design. The actual design isn’t going well and I’m sort of at my breaking point with it. Everything is piling up and it’s becoming overwhelming. But I’m going to stop bitching and go ahead and post this!

A drawing of mine for a poster design. I just recently was a in a car accident (no one was hurt except minor cuts on my hands) and I am going to have to pay a large amount of cash for damages, etc. I’m fortunate to have parents who will help financially but I’m really hoping to win some cash with this poster design (1st prize is 1K), not only for my confidence, but for this little setback. This will be a bitch to scan I can already tell.
5I want to draw women. Women are the most beautiful things in the universe and I can never capture them well on paper. I’m going to practice the female form a lot more. I want my work to be more sensual and romantic, it really lacks that touch and I think it’s a big part of who I am. Nothing more aesthetically pleasing than a woman’s figure and a pretty face. Women in art work could be nurturing, sexy, seductive, innocent and emotional all at the same time.
Plus, women are hot.
